Minimal Distopias is the breeding of minimalist/conceptual poster design and literary science fiction distopias.
I chose two of my favorite distopy novels and gave them the minimalist posters I think they deserve. The aproach was to find the unusual path for each book and follow it. So, for example, the obvious path for Walter Miller's A Canticle for Leibowitz would be a sandy and orangy colour pallete, once the whole story is in a desert fallout-esque post-apocaliptic America. Istead, I looked for the inner meaning of the novel. For me it was always about how God brings light through science.
The two novels I choose were:
1984 by George Orwell
A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter H. Miller
